Most flats across New Town and Salt Lake are built with efficient, compact floor plans — which means the kitchen often ends up being the smallest room in the house. That doesn't mean it has to feel small.
1. The L-shape workhorse. For most New Town and Salt Lake 2BHK layouts, an L-shaped modular kitchen makes the best use of two adjoining walls.
2. Vertical storage over horizontal clutter. Ceiling-height cabinets are the single biggest space-saver we recommend across our Rajarhat and New Town projects.
3. A breakfast counter instead of a dining table. Frees up real floor space in smaller flats.
4. Light, reflective finishes. Glossy cabinets and light countertops open up even a narrow galley kitchen.
5. Concealed appliances. Built-in chimneys and panel-matched refrigerators keep sightlines clean.
