A large number of homeowners we work with across Salt Lake and Rajarhat want their interiors to work with Vastu Shastra principles, alongside a genuinely modern design sensibility.
Kitchen placement. Where possible, we plan for the kitchen in the south-east corner, with the cook facing east.
Keep the north-east corner light and open. This often works beautifully as a living room corner or open seating nook.
Bedroom placement. The master bedroom is traditionally best placed in the south-west.
Balance, don't obsess. Most clients want Vastu-aware design that still looks contemporary.
